Finishing point Jetty
This is the most popular starting point for houseboats which is also why it is the most crowded. It is the closest to Alleppey town.
Punnamada Jetty
This is 3 Km away from finishing point terminal and is one of the houseboat starting point in Alleppey
Pallathuruthi Houseboat boarding point
This boarding point is comparatively less crowded than the popular Punnamada. Quite far away from Alleppey town but when you come via Changanassery this is the closest boarding point.
Nedumudi Houseboat boarding point
Nedumudi is a small village that is a part of lower Kuttanad. It is almost 11 km from Alleppey town.
Kainakari Houseboat boarding point.
Yet another small village that is beautiful with Lakes one either side. Various end points of roads are used for shikara or houseboat starting points.

Chavara church
A serene and pristine church. Also the ancestral home to recently canonised St. Kuriakose Elis Chavara. For those seeking a spiritual retreat this is the place to be.
Kuttithodu
A small region by the Vembanad lake. A small yet beautiful canal lined by greenery and beauty.
Chennemkeri
Chennemkeri is a small village situated in Kuttanad taluk. Highly dependant on agriculture. Because of its beautiful landscape many movies and videos are shot here.

Karumadi Kuttan
A famous landmark in Alleppey. A name given to the black budha statue. The Dalai Lama has paid a visit to see this statue that stands 3 feet tall.
Champakulam
Church (Basilica of St. Mary)
One of the oldest churches in all of India. It is believed to be established in AD 427. Many rock incriptions are found in the church that disclose the history of the church.
